We support sick, injured, and fallen first responders and their families through financial assistance, charitable programs, and community support.

Rooted in our Irish American fire service heritage, we bring people together through friendship, tradition, and a shared commitment to helping others. We welcome first responders and supporters from every background.

Helping First Responders and Their Families in Times of Need

Our History

Founded in 2002 by local firefighters, the Anne Arundel Firefighters Emerald Society grew from a commitment to preserving tradition, building friendships, and taking care of our own.

We incorporated in 2019 and became a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2020. Today, our members and supporters carry that commitment forward, providing more than $50,000 in assistance each year to first responders and their families.
