About Us
Helping first responders and their families in times of need
The Anne Arundel County Firefighters Emerald Society, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, was founded in 2002 and incorporated in 2019. Our mission is to provide relief and support for sick, injured, and fallen first responders and their families. While rooted in the fire service, our membership also includes associate and business members who share in our commitment to service and community. United by respect for Celtic heritage and the proud traditions of the fire service, we foster unity through education, charitable giving, social events, and cultural celebrations—remaining open and welcoming to all who value service, tradition, and community.
